A tree ornament shaped like a moustache. I saw this in the store today and desperately wanted to buy it, but since I’m not Jane I decided against it. Someone should, though!

Nonprofits are increasingly being forced into creative fundraising during economic downturn. We are seeing a deviation from the conventional end of year, send-me-your-check-please approach. Value added auctions, micro-financing, increasing transparency, partnering musicians with causes and many other novel approaches are being employed by grassroots nonprofits. The Sea Save Foundation Holiday Auction, the ocean conservation non-profit that my sister works for starts TODAY, Wednesday, November 23rd and ends on Thursday, December 1st. The proceeds will go to Sea Save Foundation in order to support ocean conservation. Auction items range from exotic diving vacation getaways in places such as Indonesia, Fiji, and the Maldives, diving equipment & gear, ocean related art pieces, & underwater photography courses by accomplished oceanographers. There have so many generous donors giving their support & there are some incredible auction items that even I am planning on bidding on as well since the bidding starts at $50 for some of these items. Please feel free to share this link with family, friends, coworkers and anyone else either through email or on your social networks, like Facebook or Twitter as it is sure to be quite an exciting & busy auction. Click here to go to the auction or type in this URL: http://www.biddingforgood.com/SeaSaveFoundation To learn even more about Sea Save Foundation and their ocean conservation efforts please click on any of the links below. Happy Holidays & Happy Bidding!
